Vikhroli, Mumbai : A heartfelt tribute was paid on the occasion of the first death anniversary of Guruvar Late Shri P. M. Raut Sir, the founder of Vidya Vikas Education Society and a tireless educator who served in the academic field for over 63 years, enlightening the lives of thousands of students with the flame of knowledge. The commemorative event took place in an atmosphere of deep reverence and affection on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the auditorium of Vidya Vikas Education Society, Vikhroli.
The central theme of the event revolved around remembering Raut Sir’s lifelong contributions and leaving a lasting impression of his values in the hearts of the attendees. Raut Sir was not merely a teacher; he was a visionary guide who sowed seeds of values in the lives of his students. Many dignitaries expressed that “from the founding of the institution to the holistic development of students, his journey was one of selfless devotion to knowledge and education.”
The program was conducted in four thoughtfully curated sessions:
Opening Session – Musical Tribute:
A heartfelt musical homage through soulful songs dedicated to the memory of Raut Sir filled the atmosphere with emotion. The school anthem and college anthem, performed by musicians and singers Avadhoot Rege and Mansi Phadke, were particularly touching and energizing.
Second Session – Anthem Release Ceremony:
This segment marked the release of specially composed prayer songs dedicated to all the schools and colleges under the institution.
Third Session – Audio-Visual Presentation:
A documentary film showcasing Raut Sir’s inspiring life journey left the audience deeply moved and contemplative.
Concluding Session – Tributes by Dignitaries:
Eminent personalities from the fields of education, social work, and public service paid emotional tributes, sharing their heartfelt memories and gratitude towards Guruvar Raut Sir.
