Natural Calamity Relief: ₹1,356 Crore Approved for Satara, Kolhapur, Beed, Dharashiv, Latur, Parbhani, and Nanded Districts : Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Makarand Jadhav-Patil

Mumbai, October 17: Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Makarand Jadhav-Patil announced that financial assistance of ₹1,356 crore 30 lakh 22 thousand has been approved for the farmers affected by the heavy rains and floods that occurred in September 2025 across the districts of Satara, Kolhapur, Beed, Dharashiv, Latur, Parbhani, and Nanded.

This relief will benefit 21,66,198 farmers, covering 15,16,681.21 hectares of damaged crops. The government resolution regarding this approval has been officially issued.

District-wise Relief Allocation:

  • Satara: ₹6 crore 29 lakh 3 thousand for 11,113 farmers affected over 4,219.28 hectares.

  • Kolhapur: ₹3 crore 18 lakh for 5,860 farmers affected over 1,696.36 hectares.

  • Beed: ₹577 crore 78 lakh 92 thousand for 8,06,513 farmers affected over 6,44,918.55 hectares.

  • Dharashiv: ₹292 crore 49 lakh 22 thousand for 4,04,656 farmers affected over 3,11,291.23 hectares.

  • Latur: ₹202 crore 38 lakh 19 thousand for 4,15,492 farmers affected over 2,36,628.99 hectares.

  • Parbhani: ₹245 crore 64 lakh 49 thousand for 4,39,297 farmers affected over 2,85,853.78 hectares.

  • Nanded: ₹28 crore 52 lakh 37 thousand for 83,267 farmers affected over 32,073.02 hectares.

Minister Jadhav-Patil further stated that financial aid for the families of deceased persons, farmers who lost livestock, and citizens whose houses collapsed due to the natural calamity will be provided directly at the district level. Hence, there will be no need to send proposals to the state government, ensuring that assistance is delivered quickly and efficiently.
