Thane: “Wars are not fought only on the battlefield, but also on economic, social, political, technological, and ideological fronts. Entrepreneurs must recognize this reality and prepare themselves to face upcoming challenges accordingly. This initiative by the organization is commendable as it aims to provide guidance in that direction,” said counselor Prof. Pragya Pandit.
She was speaking at a special lecture on the topic “Business During Wartime – Challenges and New Opportunities,” organized by the Thane branch of the Karhade Brahmin Benevolent Foundation (KBBF).
“War can destabilize a nation’s economy, but India’s strong economic foundation is helping us navigate through such times. Entrepreneurs must plan with an understanding of the post-war challenges. Proper use of networking and marketing can give businesses a new direction,” she added.
She further stated, “Business is not merely a means to earn profit; it is also an opportunity to identify and address societal needs and contribute positively. If we move forward with awareness during times of crisis, it can open up new horizons of opportunity.”
The event was presided over by Mr. Rajeev Prabhudesai, with Ms. Rupali Navare (Secretary) and Mr. Makarand Pandit (Treasurer) also present on the dais. A large number of Brahmin entrepreneurs from various fields attended the event. The lecture was coordinated by renowned figure in the social and literary fields, Mr. Rajendra Gosavi.
