Relief for 40,000 teachers in the state 

Mumbai (Representative) : Teachers who have completed senior and selection grade in the state will get certificates within a week 

Three months have passed since the teachers completed their senior and selection grade training. Teachers had made numerous complaints to BJP's state invited member and Mumbai Principals' Association North Division President Anil Bornare that teachers were not getting certificates. Anil Bornare today contacted the director of the State Educational Research and Training Council, Pune and demanded immediate issuance of certificates to the teachers. The director told Bornare that these certificates would be issued within a week.

Teachers in primary, secondary, higher secondary and teachers' colleges in the state completed selection grade and senior pay grade training as well as self-study and action research in the month of June. However, since the teachers have not yet received the certificate of completion of training, the teachers have not been able to send their proposals for senior and selection grades to the Education Department, which is causing great loss to the teachers.  But now that teachers will soon receive certificates of completion of training, the way has been cleared to begin the process of sending their proposals to the Education Department, said Anil Bornare.
