Construction of the “Bharat Park” begins today. The first phase will be completed by end of 2026. This park will serve as a global platform for Indian products, especially targeting GCC and African buyers.

MoU between DP World and RITES Ltd. to jointly explore opportunities in global infrastructure projects and to develop a virtual trade corridor platform that will integrate customs and logistics processes.
MoU between DP World and Cochin Shipyard for cooperation in ship repair, construction, offshore fabrication, and oil & gas sectors — boosting the Make in India 2030 and Atmanirbhar Bharat missions.
A deep-water port container terminal will be completed by 2027, adhering to India’s Green Port Guidelines.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, in his remarks, highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Mumbai and Dubai, beyond just cricket — citing 100 years since Sheikh Saeed’s visit to India in 1924.
He emphasized that the India-UAE relationship is a model of trust-based partnership, strengthened by the close rapport between PM Narendra Modi and UAE leadership.
He also expressed gratitude for the Swaminarayan Temple being built in UAE, and noted growing cooperation in education — with IIT already established in Dubai, and IIM and IIFT set to follow.
“This is just the beginning. Vast opportunities lie ahead in sectors like education, trade, culture, energy, logistics, AI, green energy, and food security,” he said.
Goyal also stated that India’s GDP has doubled, and India will become the world’s 4th largest economy by 2025 and 3rd largest by 2027 — aligning with UAE’s 50-year vision and India’s Viksit Bharat dream.
